LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL HAPPENS AT WORKSPACE

Great design happens at Workspace, and we count some of the capital’s most innovative and inspiring creative minds amongst our customers. This year, we’re emphasising the tremendous wealth of design talent at Workspace and in the city by partnering with London Design Festival to host three exhibitions and a variety of events within our characterful buildings. 

Join us at Metal Box Factory, The Frames, and Leroy House to experience artist exhibitions from design, art and architecture during London Design Festival 2024. Each exhibition is open to the public and free to attend. Check out the schedule below.

We’ll also be hosting evening events on the 17th, 18th and 19th of September from 5-9pm, featuring artist talks and the opportunity to network with the London Design Festival community and our creative customers. Join us for drinks and nibbles with the artists to say hello and take in the exhibitions after hours.

Showcasing at Metal Box Factory

Workspace customer and Icelandic artist Kristjana S. Williams blends fine art with digital design, inspired by nature's symmetry. Her award-winning work has led to collaborations with brands like the Victoria & Albert Museum and Paul Smith.

Showcasing at Leroy House

Tulā, a collaboration between Blurck and Dasein Lab, blends architecture and material sciences. Their first chairs, made from reclaimed London scaffolding and Delhi stone, unite two cities in a screwless, flat-pack design.

Showcasing at The Frames

Studio HANDS, Akmaral Khassen, studio LOUD, and Ivan Zahrebeniuk uses furniture, prints, and paintings, to explore how everyday objects can transform spaces, pushing material boundaries and playing with shape and colour to evoke emotion.

Our buildings are home to design-filled spaces - each is different, reflecting the unique character and history of the local area. Communal spaces are filled with work from local artists, referencing the rich cultural heritage of the capital and providing inspiration to our customers.
