our mission

At Workspace, we're really serious about sustainability. We've rolled out initiatives to cut down our environmental impact and reduce our carbon footprint. This includes using less fossil fuel, ramping up our recycling efforts, and making upgrades to help us hit our net zero target faster.

Our approach centres around a three-pillar strategy designed to keep improving our environmental and social impact. We've aligned this strategy with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, so we know we're on the right path compared to global standards.

Future-proofing our buildings

We've got some of London's most iconic buildings in our portfolio, landmarks that are a big part of the city's heritage. When we refurbish these places, we make sure they meet our net zero commitments by cutting emissions and hitting our energy reduction targets.

The Big Energy Race 

Last February we powered down, we dimmed the lights, we switched off and we saved over 860,000 kWh compared to our previous years energy usage. This is the equivalent of 28 Glastonbury Festivals. 

The Big Energy Race is back this November by popular demand. We want to keep up the momentum and save even more, doing our bit for the planet as we go about our working day. See how you can get involved.


WASTE FREE WORKSPACE

While we've got one eye on the great outdoors during our glorious summer, it seems a good time to talk about our sustainability efforts and in particular, Reducing Waste.

Lets call time on waste

Throughout this month, we’re on a mission to put a stop to our wasteful habits. We can all help with this. Little things like putting your waste into the correct bin and rinsing plastic containers before throwing them away all ensure more of our waste is properly recycled.
