The historic Grade II listed building has been fastidiously transformed, giving its interiors a gloriously modern, warehouse feel with chic parquet floors, exposed brick walls and gorgeous green tiling.
Fine & Bone is China Works’ delicious cafe. As well as fresh brews from Extract Coffee, they serve excellent breakfast and lunch, with rotating artisan specials, pastries and snacks. Proudly plastic-free, much of the fruit and veg used is grown on a local allotment.
Chat to customers and colleagues on lush art deco style sofas and chairs in grey and orange tones. There’s high seating and stools at Fine & Bone as well as plenty of open and airy communal space with multiple power points available throughout.

The former Victorian HQ of Royal Doulton, this grand terracotta building was built in the 1800s and home to the world-famous pottery for many years. It still boasts an incredible and ornate Gothic exterior, with gargoyle dragons, sculpted heads and handsome pillars. Later, it was where black cab drivers learned the incredible mental map of London known as ‘The Knowledge’.
