History

Built in the late 1960s as warehouses and showrooms, it later became a storage unit for the likes of the V&A National Art Library and the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England’s archive. In the 1990s the building was used as a language school, before relaunching as E1 Studios in 2015.
